Smoked Salmon Seacuterie Board

A Seacuterie Board is @bon_abbetit's ocean-inspired take on the classic charcuterie board, designed for seafood lovers who want to celebrate smoked fish in all its forms. This board features a thoughtful trio of smoked salmon, creamy smoked salmon salad, and sweet-salty smoked salmon candy, creating a balance of silky, smoky, and rich textures that invite grazing and gathering.

Layered with crunchy pickled vegetables, fresh herbs, toasted bagels, crackers, and crostinis, this smoked salmon board is as flexible as it is impressive. Use it as a centerpiece for holiday entertaining, brunch with friends, or an elevated appetizer spread. There’s no wrong way to build a Seacuterie Board, just start with great smoked salmon, add your favorite accompaniments, and let curiosity lead the way.

Directions

Make your base: Use a baking sheet for your “board” to keep all components well contained. Cover the sheet in a thin layer of pink and white rock salt to make a base. Then anchor 2 large ramekins on two opposite corners of the board.

Add the components: Add your chosen 3 (or more) smoked fish to the board. Use the ramekins for any smoked fish or smoked salmon salad you may be using, then add the smoked salmon and smoked salmon candy to the middle of the board. For visual and taste appeal, you can add some everything bagel seasoning, dill, and capers to the smoked salmon salad. Layer thin slices of radish underneath the smoked salmon and smoked salmon candy for some color, and to separate it from the rock salt.

Fill in the rest: From there, fill in all the other fixings. Add some of the smaller garnishes such as pickled shallots, capers, and pickled peppers, to small bowls. Add any other vegetables you may be using in whatever arrangement you prefer. Finish with bagel pieces, crostini, and crackers. As an optional garnish, top everything with pomegranate seeds for a festive twist and then finish with more everything bagel seasoning.
