Shana Tovah. This Rosh Hashanah, what we give to you isn’t really a recipe, it’s a showstopping platter that practically builds itself! Our rich, sweet Smoked Salmon Candy pairs effortlessly with Honeycrisp apples, figs, green grapes, and dried apricots, while creamy Brie and a drizzle of honey add just the right touch of indulgence. Round it out with pumpkin-cranberry crackers, roasted almonds, and chocolate-covered pomegranate seeds for crunch and contrast. Whether it’s a holiday spread or a casual gathering, this board is as easy to assemble as it is impossible to resist.
Of course, any of these items (besides the Smoked Salmon Candy) can be swapped or omitted based on taste and availability. Whether it's for a Rosh Hashanah gathering, a January 1st New Year's party, or a friendly get together, this Smoked Salmon Candy Board is a delight to behold, no matter what you pair with our Smoked Salmon Candy. Just make sure you have as much fun making it as you do enjoying it with your guests!
Arrange the Smoked Salmon Candy across the board, each piece prominently centered within its own section.
Place the Brie and honey on the board, nearby to each other for easy pairing.
Add the apple slices and figs. Distribute them in different sections across the board, so there are a few close to each piece of Smoked Salmon Candy
Add the apricots. The apricots can be placed in their own section in a little mound, or kept in a bowl atop the board.
Add the grapes. The grapes can be left on the stem in a cluster, or taken off the stem and kept in a bowl atop the board.
Add the almonds and chocolate-covered pomegranate seeds in appropriately-sized bowls atop the board, placing each on opposite ends.
Fill in the spaces with rows of crackers, fanning them out slightly if there is extra space to fill.
Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until guests arrive.
Note: This board comfortably serves 6–8 as part of an appetizer spread. For larger groups, double the quantities or pair with additional cheeses and crackers.
