This fresh, flavor-packed sandwich by @bon_abbetit brings together rich, creamy, and herbaceous layers of texture and flavor for a summer lunch that’s anything but boring. Built around Acme’s Lemon Garlic Hot Smoked Salmon, this ready-to-eat smoked salmon portion delivers bold, savory flavor straight from the fridge, no extra prep needed. It’s paired here with a whipped goat cheese spread infused with olive oil, lemon, basil, and dill, creating a tangy, vibrant base for every bite.
Stacked high on toasted ciabatta with heirloom tomato slices and a peppery handful of arugula, this smoked salmon sandwich feels elegant but is effortless to assemble, perfect for beach lunches, poolside bites, or casual backyard get-togethers. If you’re looking for an easy way to enjoy smoked salmon beyond the bagel, this sandwich is your new go-to.
Directions
Make the goat cheese spread by combining all the ingredients in a bowl and mixing by hand for a bit of a chunkier spread, or transfer to a food processor and blend until smooth. Season to taste.
Slice ciabatta and brush with olive oil. Add more oil to a skillet and add slices of bread. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side on medium heat until crispy and browned.
Add goat cheese spread in an even layer and top with large flaked pieces of the Lemon Garlic Smoked Salmon. Top with a handful of arugula and slices of tomato. Season tomatoes with sea salt, pepper and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes (optional). Close sandwich, slice, and enjoy!
