What’s next for our smoked whitefish? It’s up to you, and that’s the beauty of it. One of the few fish I eagerly long for. The taste was fantastic, although it was a bit drier than I had in the past. Other than that tiny detail, it is truly a palette pleaser.
My grandfather worked for Acme right into his late 80s. In his 90s, I always loved going with him on Friday mornings to pick up fish. It is still the best! I deboned the whole thing, mixed it with some celery, dill, lemon juice, and a touch of mayo, and ate it on matzah all week. Delicious!
