I love sable. I have previously bought the unsliced pieces. The sliced pieces in this package were super dry and salty. There was none of the lushness and more-ish flavor. After one sandwich, I have no desire to eat more. Sad.

Sable is a gamble. When you slice a new piece, you don’t know if it will be dry or moist, moist being preferable. This pre-sliced package was moist and delicious, and I will buy it again.
The English Language has many lovely attributes; however, it falls short in words that might describe Acme Smoked Fish. "Silky" works but only in tandem with other words such as "Indescribably," which brings us to "Buttery," a word that allows for the image of the smoked fish melting in one's mouth. I will continue trying to find the words that describe this amazing phenomenon called Acme Smoked Fish. Here, a photo below of the aforementioned at my BIG birthday! Thank you!
