Handmade with 100% rye flour, our Baltic Rye (rupjmaize) is a dense, hearty sourdough bread that naturally stays fresh and tasty for weeks. This preservative-free wheat-free bread is made with whole grain rye flour, natural sourdough leavening, and red rye malt made by our friends at Rabbit Hill Malt (in southern NJ). This bread goes well with everything. And it is an ideal partner for smoked and pickled fishes. Add a little bit of butter, cream cheese, or mustard for a truly spectacular nosh.
