About the Scholarship

Education changes everything. It unlocks passions, amplifies impact, and forges the connections that will shape our shared tomorrow. Throughout our history as a company, we’ve seen firsthand how widening the gateway to education creates meaningful opportunities for individuals. We’ve also seen how it ripples out, empowering families and communities to improve their lives—and the world we share.

Who Can Apply?

To be considered for a scholarship award, you must be a legal dependent of an Acme employee who’s worked for 12+ consecutive months. We urge you to apply if you’re a high school senior, undergraduate, or vocational-technical student planning to enroll or already enrolled at a U.S.-accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year, pursuing a specific degree or certification. Previous awardees are eligible as long as they’ve met their institution's academic requirements.

How Do We Select Our Scholars?

How Do We Select Our Scholars?

Scholarship awardees will receive $1,000 and are chosen based on their experience and educational goals. We select applicants with a proven background of volunteerism, employment, or entrepreneurship, along with a clear plan for their education's impact and support from a community member. We also prioritize applicants who are the first in their families to pursue post-secondary education.

We see many wonderful applications, and they’re all different. That said, all successful applications have the following in common: they meet eligibility requirements, include all required information, and showcase your commitment to community and passion for education.
Your letter is your opportunity to introduce yourself. Tell us about your background, your interests, and what’s inspiring your journey in education.
Maybe the best way to show us who you are is with a portfolio of drawings, a sketch you wrote, or a photo series. We welcome supporting materials along with your applications. You can also include a short video (no more than four minutes) in lieu of your application letter.
We accept nomination letters from teachers, family members, employers, religious leaders, neighbors, and friends. Most important? They should know you well.
All of our awards are $1,000. We pay this directly to your academic or vocational institution, where it can cover anything from books to tuition fees.
Yes! You can apply once per year, even if you’re a previous recipient of the Acme scholarship award. All we ask is that you meet our eligibility criteria and application requirements.
