2017 Silver Star Award for Safety

Acme Smoked Fish of NC has been recognized with a “2017 Silver Star Award for Safety.” This recognition program provides an opportunity for the North Carolina Department of Labor ( NC -OSHA) to recognize companies who maintain a safe and healthful workplace.

Acme wins two sofi awards from the Specialty Food Association

Acme won two sofi awards from the Specialty Food Association: our BHB BBQ Smoked Salmon won Gold in the Seafood category, while our Honey Maple Salmon won Bronze, also in the Seafood category. This is our third sofi award; last year, in 2017, we won a Gold sofi for the BHB Pastrami Smoked Salmon.The sofi awards stand for “specialty outstanding food innovation” and represent the best of the best in the specialty food industry. There were more than 2,600 entries submitted. This year, the Specialty Food Association recognized 156 winners in 39 categories.


Acme Achieves 4-Star BAP Certification

Acme is pleased to announce that it is now capable of supplying BAP four-star certified Smoked Atlantic Salmon products. This capability is made possible by having full control of the entire manufacturing process and at teh salmon source.

Acme Expands Manufacturing Operations

Acme officially announces that its largest cold smoked salmon facility in Wilmington, North Carolina is now open. The 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility was meticulously built to initially produce 10 million pounds of cold smoked salmon per year with the highest quality and food safety standards in the industry.

RC Creations, LLC, a subsidiary of Acme Smoked Fish Corporation, announced it is expanding manufacturing operations with plans to construct a new facility in North Carolina. The 100,000 SF state of the art facility will be strategically located in the wilmington area to complement Acme's existing locations in Brooklyn, NY and Pompano Beach, FL....

Acme is pleased to announce that Ready-to-Eat Smoked Salmon and Smoked Tuna Bowls are now available nationwide from Blue Hill Bay.

Ruby Bay's Eco-Friendly Packaging Uses 30% Less Plastic

Acme Smoked Fish Corp. unveils redesigned packages and sizes

The new packaging design uses 30 percent less plastic, reaffirming the company's commitment to protecting the environment and the fish it loves.  Smaller packs showcase the brand's new dark charcoal brand colors along with its updated Ruby Bay logo.  Three-ounce value size and larger twelve-ounce packs are now available for grab-and-go convenience.

Acme Smoked Fish Corporation has re-launched its celebrated brands, including Acme, Blue Hill Bay, Ruby Bay, and Great American.  The Company brand has also undergone a change to include an icon that will now represent the company and associate all brands with the Acme Smoked Fish Corporation.
